Augmet offers services which alternate between increasing and decreasing rainfalls at different times of the year. Wet & Dry services can be used to reduce problems of seasonal extremes for town catchments for example - many of which are often polluted by heavy rainfalls after months of dry conditions.

Crops such as wheat and soy demand wet weather at certain times of gestation, and dry weather during process of maturing. After planting, three significant rainfalls are required for wheat, and before harvesting dry weather is essential to guarantee a good crop, as wet weather can ruin much or the entire yield.  Soy crops also require a more exact climate that, considering the extent of farming throughout different parts of the world, is not always possible from natural weather cycles of the region.

Augmet Wet and Dry services induce and boost rainfalls during periods where it is specified by the operator.  recommendations will be offered to operators about services, however the operator can specify the mission - either wet or dry - prior to the flight.  for other periods of the germination process the rain is not only not required, rain will destroy much of the crop, either from diseases or drowning the crop. During these periods with Wet and Dry services Augmet will act to reduce rainfalls.

Wet and dry services provide the flexibility to farmers to provide the maximum yield from crops dependant upon more rigid seasonal variation.
