Fixed price services are offered with
three area sizes or for Superstorms or Acid rain reduction, simply click
on the size area and complete the application. Client must have
permission from local State and Federal Governments before services can
begin. Client is responsible for insurance costs. Due to the
variation in weather both in terms of locality, season and global
influences there is no result guarantee.
For experimental fog and frost
eradication, or research donations, click on the appropriate box and
type donation on the application. For larger areas, order multiple
services appropriate to the size of the coverage area.
Price is for approximately 50
flights over 1 year stand-by. Services start 3-6 months after ordering.

A new era
With Climate
change and water one today’s priority agendas, BAT weather modification
introduces a new level of technology, industry leading innovation and
maturity to weather modification at fixed prices. The world now has a
climate augmentation business offering the highest standard of service
to any customer with affordable prices.
Augmet provides new
tactics, reactants, services and modern instrumentation combined with
easy, off-the-shelf purchasing as easy as retail purchasing to
customers. No longer do non-aerospace organisations have to conduct
their own trials to obtain mediocre results: operators just require
permission from the relevant Councils, State and Federal Government
departments, plus insurances and operations can begin.
Augmet brings a new
era to this industry the best personnel, aircraft and technology to the
job within several months of ordering.
»
How?
Augmet services offered
are rain making, snow making, rain (including Acid-rain) prevention and Superstorm reduction. Services start after payment with general research
into the areas weather patterns while appropriate aircraft and other
equipment is acquired. Tactics are devised centring upon terrain,
season, location and services required. The crew is brought on to the
site commencing when appropriate conditions exist. Research elements
combine available data for the local climate with local knowledge and
studies results achieved. Super-storm defence is a one year,
research-based operation service with operations using data obtained to
improve results and performance to diminish and destroy Superstorm.

Augmet
Technology
On board advanced
weather radar combined with GNSS or GPS systems precisely find the right
deployment location while also factoring in terrain, Latitude and local
climatology. This enables the best chance of result possible within the
given conditions.
Infra red systems,
and possibly Lidar technology will be used if available, to track
convection and dispersant in cloud. Convection is the process often
stimulating coalescence that grows raindrops. Dispersant can be followed
visually with this method providing direct feedback to crews. Visible
mechanics make it easier to judge to effect, giving crews more feedback
and independent ability to judge, not previously monitored.
Augmet will be maintained with a strategy to maximise service flexibility,
operations cease during medium or heavy rainfall unless directly
specified by the operator, saving services for later dates.
Consideration will always be given to the broader climatology of the
area.
Aircraft costs
can be significant factor in the cost of services.
Augmet varies aircraft
types involved with the size and location of the operation, from light
jets to high performance piston-engine singles. The operational cost of
each type can vary considerably, as well as its on-board equipment. Type
review and cost scaling keeps prices low and provides high levels of
safety for crews. Aircraft selection improves results and helps fund
further research while providing and retaining fixed priced services to
customers. Augmet retains all equipment including aircraft leading to price
reductions in future; avionics will be continually upgraded with
specialised equipment, often the most expensive part of the aeroplane.
Augmet has new
dispersants under commercial development to provide more successful
services at less cost. A
sister technology is also being researched.
Augmet is also looking at
technology to obtain rain from moist air rather than be limited to
clouds when the condensed moisture in the atmosphere is visible. At the
forefront of Augmet research is the answers to localised effects of climate
change and variation, these emerging innovations have potential to solve
this crisis.

Ongoing commitment
and development
Ongoing
operations, new technology, tactics and research will improve results to
customers, instead of the data being lost. Development principles apply
to virtually everything in life: the factor of if a given activity is
practised, one gets better at it. Efforts since the inception of cloud
seeding have not attained credibility/growth and remained small scale;
with data lost, unshared and undeveloped. This is because limited
funding, disbelief and naivety of basic scientific principles and
meteorological factors, fear and cost control and avoidance by governing
agencies and litigation fears have limited expansion and development in
this industry. This changes: now.
